Acampora Interiors is a full-service interior design firm guided by the idea of ‘livable luxury’ — that home can be both elegant and comfortable. With a growing brand, structure was needed to help showcase the result of warm, elegant and livable spaces that reflect the interests and lifestyles of those who call them home.
Acampora Interiors Brand Guide
Timeless. Beautiful. You.
Though a logo for Acampora Interiors had already been established, plans of expansion were on the horizon. With that in mind, rules for developing long and short logo treatments for future sub-brands were needed.
Ultimately the decision was made to create a centered and stacked mid-size version of the logo without the logo icon and for the smallest cases, use of just the logo icon without any mention of sub-brands.
Initial Logo Suite Options
In both the traditional and modern options, the stacked iteration’s text (though not symmetrical) is based on the ratio of the circles within the elephant door knocker icon which gives it a consistent feeling between the icon and the text.
Traditional
The mobile or narrow space iteration gave a great opportunity to keep the symmetry from the wide iteration in a really elegant way (especially with the happy coincidence that “Acampora” begins and ends with an “A”). I can also see the narrow iteration easily being adapted to an animation where it transforms into the wide iteration.
Modern
Keeping symmetrical was a bit harder to accomplish in this option, so instead, I focused more on simplicity. I see using just the elephant door knocker icon for any (extremely) narrow use cases to truly simplify the logo and the second and third iterations as two directions for mid-sized spaced depending on how comfortable you are with excluding “Acampora.”
Color Palette
The firm’s designs compose mostly of neutrals with one leading pop of color to reflect the warmth and happiness of the family spaces they create. Inspiration was taken from the most used Benjamin Moore paint colors (specifically Evening Dove and New Hope Gray) used within there design to best reflect their main aesthetic and compliment the images for marketing assets.
100% black was avoided to not read as harsh even when next to the more saturated colors in the palette. Cool blues, soft warm blush and soft grays were selected to work with any tone that the spaces may take and combine easily with each other.
Typography
A selection of fonts were selected to match the juxtaposition of traditional and clean, modern elements with a personalized touch.
