The Boston Marathon is an iconic event in the city of Boston. People from around the world come to participate in this event, going through 8 towns and with 27,221 runners in 2017.
Stepping outside of the medical tents, the employees of CHA needed a symbol to rally around for those participating in the marathon. Personifying the “Slappy” figure within the logo’s icon gave the runners a symbol with movement and recognition to the CHA brand. To give them a presumptive feeling of winning, a blue winner’s ribbon was added to also give movement and show determination.
