Transforming the Auction Industry, Together

The Global Auction House Summit is an annual event that brings together leading auction industry representatives, experts, and global influencers to discuss strategies for innovation in the art world.

Before starting on this project, it was established that the visual direction should incorporate some combination of London, technology, direction, connection, and/or interesting points throughout the event assets. The intersecting honeycomb motif was created with golden, circular spots to call out to connections created throughout the event. This became our main element to highlight the networking that rarely happens within the auction industry.

Concept Options

These explorations demonstrate possible directions that bring London, technology, direction, connection and interesting points into the look and feel. Each option is shown within the context of a save-the-date email to demonstrate how it could come to life.

Physical Invite

Although Invaluable is a digital-first company, physical invitations were mailed to leadership at select auction houses to create a more personal introduction to the event.

Digital Assets

In addition to account managers reaching out directly to auction house partners, a suite of emails was developed to highlight the value of attending the event.

The event website served as the central hub for all information. Leading up to the event, pages were updated with details around speakers, topics, and hotel booking as they were finalized. After the event, the site shifted to host session recordings, event photos, and sign-up opportunities for future events.
